Women's Lacrosse Named IWLCA Academic Honor Squad; 10 Purple Knights Tabbed to Honor Roll
UB has most honorees of any team in the CACC.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – 10 student-athletes from the University of Bridgeport's women's lacrosse team have earned recognition on the IWLCA's Division II Academic Honor Roll for 2024-25 as announced by the organization on Wednesday.
Coach Ormrod's group was also tabbed as an Academic Honor Squad for their collective GPA that was over 3.2 following the spring semester.
The Purple Knights' 10 honorees, who all finished the year with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, represent the most by any team in the CACC. Earlier this month, UB women's lacrosse also put 18 student-athletes on the CACC's Academic Honor Roll for spring 2025.

**To be eligible for the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
