Whitten of Women's Basketball Named CACC Academic All-Conference

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – In honor of a superb career so far in the classroom, sophomore Niyah Whitten of the University of Bridgeport's women's basketball team has been named Academic All-Conference by the CACC for the 2023-24 school year.

Whitten currently stands with a 3.69 GPA as a Psychology major. She was listed on the CACC's Academic Honor Roll earlier this semester as well.

To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must have: a) Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of the immediate preceding term (may include summer for fall sport participants); b) a Minimum of two semesters enrolled as full-time student at member institution; c) must be second year student-athlete at member institution.
