The triumph improves the Purple Knights' record to 13-9 this season, including a 6-3 mark in the CACC.
After dropping the first two frames, Bridgeport put together wins of 25-13, 25-22 and 17-15. UB secured some revenge against a Dominican team that beat them in five sets a month ago.

Hernandez finished with a team-high 19 kills while Tomiello hit a team-best .520 with 13 kills of her own. Jessen, meanwhile, chipped in 15 putaways for a second straight match.
Tomiello, who now ranks fifth in the CACC in hitting percentage (.317), finished the contest with team highs in both service aces (5) and total blocks (4.5).
UB's reigning CACC Setter of the Week was also sensational on Tuesday.
Jaden Drollinger, who earned the award for the eighth time in her career on Monday, dished out another 51 assists versus the Chargers. She continues to lead the conference in helpers per set (9.89) this season.
Drollinger also added seven digs, three aces and a pair of kills in the match. She ranks fifth in the CACC in aces per set this season.
Sophomore Grace Presswood loomed large for UB as well. The Massachusetts native led the Purple Knights with 18 digs, in addition to hammering eight kills.
