Volleyball's Jaden Drollinger Named CACC Setter of the Week
Senior wins 12th career weekly conference award.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – For the eighth time in her illustrious career, Jaden Drollinger of the University of Bridgeport's volleyball team has been named the CACC's Setter of the Week as announced by the conference on Monday.
Drollinger, who was also named the ECC's Setter of the Week four times as a freshman, strung together a pair of superb matches for UB last week. The Arizona native piled up 70 more assists (10.0/set) to raise her average to 9.88 helpers per set this season—tops in the CACC.
Drollinger also finished the Purple Knights' 1-1 stretch last week with 21 digs and six kills. UB earned a 3-0 win over Felician in the mid-week before falling to Georgian Court (3-1) on Friday night.
Drollinger and the rest of Bridgeport's volleyball team (12-9, 5-3 CACC) will return to action on Tuesday night at Dominican (7 p.m.).
