SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Continuing a stretch of four matches in four days, the University of Bridgeport's volleyball team was swept at AIC (25-17, 25-18, 25-17) on Saturday night. The defeat puts the Purple Knights' record at 8-5 this season.
Bridgeport engineered season lows in kills (22), hitting percentage (.090) and assists (20) on Saturday.
Paola Hernandez and Hailey Jessen each led UB in kills with five. Grace Presswood and Lucia Tomiello both followed with four putaways apiece. Presswood chipped in 11 digs as well.
Bridgeport's other leaders included Jaden Drollinger dishing out a team-high 16 assists while Kenyce Johnson led UB in digs with 13.
