Bridgeport, Conn.-Senior, outside hitter Emily Burford (Albuquerque, N.M.) has been named as an Honorable Mention selection to the 2021 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-East Region Team.
Burford, who earned Second team All-East Coast Conference honors this season, averaged 2.69 kills per set helping UB finish 2021 with an 18-10 overall record and a second place finish both in the ECC regular season and the conference championship tournament.
Emily finished her stellar University of Bridgeport career with a total of 1,016 career kills.
