Five UB Volleyballers Recognized With 2021 East Coast Conference Honors

West Babylon, N.Y.-Three members of the University of Bridgeport women's volleyball team earned All-Conference accolades, and two more Purple Knights received major East Conference Awards on Friday, as the ECC announced its 2021 season honors prior to this year's conference championship semifinals.

Senior Amanda Keller (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) earned Frist Team All-ECC recognition, and classmate Emily Burford (Albuquerque, N.M.) plus graduate student Amanda Hennemann (Nova Petropolis, Brazil) were selected to the Second Team All-ECC squad.

Bridgeport freshman Jaden Drollinger (Queens Creek, Az.) has been named the 2021 East Coast Conference Setter of the Year, and classmate Paola Hernandez (Bayamon, P.R.) earned the nod as the ECC's Rookie of the Year.
