Volleyball Team Set To Open 2010 Season On September 3rd

Bridgeport, Conn.- The University of Bridgeport women's volleyball team, which won the 2009 East Coast Conference title, will open its 2010 season against Holy Family University on Friday, September 3 in the University of New Haven Classic in West Haven, CT. Match time is 5:30 pm. Second-year head coach Leo Uzcategui's team will begin its 2010 home schedule in Hubbell Gym on Friday, September 17 with a 6:00 pm match versus Pace University.
The Purple Knights, who advanced to the 2009 NCAA East Region
Championship match, will be looking to make their third straight
trip to the NCAA Division II Championship Tournament in 2010.
