Women's Track and Field Breaks Program Relay Record on Day Two of CACC Championships
UB's 4x400 relay sets new program record with a time of 4:24.93.

LAKEWOOD, N.J. – After Day One yielded a pair of top-five finishes, the University of Bridgeport's women's track and field team concluded action at the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Outdoor Championships on Saturday in Lakewood, N.J.
Individually, Stephanie Lickteig and Marcela Bañuelos paced the Purple Knights in the 5K. Lickteig finished 10th while Bañuelos placed 13th with respective times of 20:21.25 and 20:56.07.
UB's 4x400 relay squad of Emma Pastorelli, Abety Kivagheni, Suweba Jawula and Lynzie Lawton also performed well with a program-record time of 4:24.93.

The Purple Knights will compete in the 2026 NEICAAA Championships next weekend (May 8-9) at Stonehill.
