Swimming and Diving Teams Earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors for Fall 2025
Purple Knight women posted 3.69 team GPA, men finished with a 3.64.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Restarting a tradition of high academic achievements, the University of Bridgeport's men's and women's swimming and diving squads were each named Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) following the fall 2025 semester.
The Purple Knights women finished the first academic period with a team grade-point average of 3.69 while the UB men posted a GPA of 3.64.
Individually speaking, Bridgeport had 22 student-athletes finish with a GPA of 3.5 or above. Additionally, five Purple Knights registered perfect 4.0s for the fall semester.
In total, 711 teams representing 16,455 student-athletes earned CSCAA Scholar All-America recognition for their outstanding academic performance.
To qualify, each team was required to post a team cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher during the Fall 2025 semester.
