Liddell and Boucher of Women's Soccer Earn CACC Weekly Awards
Boucher, Player of the Week | Liddell, Defensive Player of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – After helping the Purple Knights to a pair of wins last week, Brooke Boucher and Jasmine Liddell of the University of Bridgeport's women's soccer team earned CACC weekly awards on Monday.
Boucher was named the conference's Player of the Week while Liddell was selected as the CACC Defensive Player of the Week.
Boucher tallied three goals (team high) and an assist during UB's undefeated week. The Canadian scored one goal in a 4-0 win over Felician before notching both tallies in a 2-0 triumph at Lincoln. Boucher is now leading the Purple Knights in goals (6), assists (5) and total points (17) this season.
On the other side of the ball, Liddell led a UB defensive unit that dominated last week. In fact, Liddell and the Purple Knights yielded just one shot on goal in two shutout wins. Liddell started each game and played a full 90 in both.
Boucher, Liddell and the rest of the Bridgeport women's soccer squad will return to action at home against Caldwell on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
