PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Picking up their most dramatic win of the season, the University of Bridgeport's women's soccer team earned a 1-0 win at Holy Family on Saturday. The road victory pushes the Purple Knights' record to 3-5-3 overall and 2-3 in the CACC.
Tatianna Lizarraga served as the hero for UB. The graduate student scored her first goal of the season in the 84th minute to break a scoreless 0-0 draw.
Lizarraga capitalized on a turnover in the Tigers' box which was taken away by Brooke Boucher. Boucher then fed Lizarraga who dribbled past the HFU keeper and buried the game's only goal.
