After the two tilts at Franklin Pierce, the UB women will open their home schedule on Friday, September 8 when the squad opens four-match homestand against St. Anselm at 7:30 p.m. at Knights Field. The Purple Knights are coming off an outstanding 2022 season in which the UB women posted an impressive 13-3-7 overall record, as the team finished the year on a school-record 19-match unbeaten streak. Last season, Bridgeport went undefeated at 10-0-2 during its inaugural season of play in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference to take the CACC regular season title; and then followed that up by winning the conference's championship tournament to earn an automatic bid to the 2022 NCAA Division II Championship Tournament, advancing to the East Regional Semifinals.
Bridgeport women's soccer will open its 2023 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference schedule by hosting Thomas Jefferson University at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 16.
The 2023 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference champion for women's soccer will be the winner of the eight-team CACC Championship Tournament that will begin with a set of quarterfinals hosted by the top four seeds on Sunday, November 5.
