Seven Purple Knights Named To The 2021 All-ECC Women's Soccer Team

West Babylon, N.Y. – The East Coast Conference announced its Women's Soccer All-Conference honors on Friday afternoon. Molloy standouts Lexi Verni (Patchogue, N.Y.) and Jackie Carty (East Islip, N.Y.Soc) claimed the Offensive Player and Goalkeeper of the Year awards, while Mercy's Sydney Cooper (Long Beach, Calif.) was named Defensive Player of the Year and Daemen's Alyssa Diaz (Rochester, N.Y.) claimed the ECC Rookie of the Year honor.

Seven members of the University of Bridgeport women's program earned 2021 All-ECC honors with three Purple Knights earning Second Team All-Conference honors and four placing on the Third Team All-East Coast Conference squad.

Named All-ECC Second Team for 2021 from Bridgeport are Leigh-Ann Ramsay, Anisha Hill and Olivia Pousette.

Third Team All-ECC honorees are Angelina LoFranco, Samantha St. Pierre, Felicia Svensson and Clara Karlsson.
