Philadelphia, Pa.-The host Jefferson University Rams scored two goals in each half to pick up a 4-0 non-conference women's soccer victory over the visiting University of Bridgeport Purple Knights on Wednesday afternoon. With the win, the Rams, winners off 11 consecutive matches, are now 11-3-0 overall. UB slips to 7-6-2 on the 2019 season.
Jefferson outshot the Purple Knights, 13-7, on the day.
Up next, the UB women's soccer team will look to get back in the win column with an important East Coast Conference match at Molloy College on Saturday afternoon. Match time is slated for 3:00 p.m. on Long Island for the Purple Knights' final regular season road contest of 2019.
