Purple Knights Move Up One Spot To Number 17 In NSCAA National D II Women's Soccer Poll
UB In Action At Home On Wednesday And Saturday Of This Week
Bridgeport, Conn.-The University of Bridgeport women's soccer team, under the direction of eighteenth-year head coach Magnus Nilerud, has moved up one spot and is now ranked number 17 in the nation by National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Last week, UB checked in at number 18 in the nation
Bridgeport also held down the number 17 spot in the nation two weeks ago. UB was ranked number four in the NSCAA Preseason Poll and moved up to number three, four weeks ago, and the Purple Knights were slotted at number 10 in the second and third polls of the 2016 season.
This week, the UB women's soccer team will play a pair of home East Coast Conference matches hosting St. Thomas Aquinas at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Molloy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at Knights Field.
