Bridgeport Women's Soccer Slotted Number 18 In The Nation By The NSCAA
Purple Knights Set To Travel to Wilmington (Del.) On Thursday And NYIT On Saturday To Wrap Up A Busy Week Of Action
Bridgeport, Conn.-The University of Bridgeport women's soccer team, under the direction of eighteenth-year head coach Magnus Nilerud, is now ranked number 18 in the nation by National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)..
Last week, Bridgeport held down the number 17 spot in the nation. UB was ranked number four in the NSCAA Preseason Poll and moved up to number three, four weeks ago, and the Purple Knights ere slotted at number 10 in the second and third polls of the 2016 season.
After defeating Assumption, 4-0, at home on Monday evening, the UB women's soccer team will close out a busy week of action with road matches at Wilmington (Del.) University on Thursday and NYIT on Saturday.
