UB Women's Soccer Now Ranked Number Six In The Nation By The NSCAA
Purple Knights Open 2015 ECC Slate At Queens On Wednesday
Kansas City. Mo.-Even after suffering the team's first loss of the 2015 season on Sunday after against St. Edward's University by a 2-0 score, who were ranked number six in the nation at the time, the University of Bridgeport women's soccer team slip just one spot in the third regular season National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) National NCAA Division II Women's Poll of 2015 to number six.
After receiving votes in the NSCAA Preseason Poll, UB was ranked number 15 before moving up to number five in the second poll of the season last week.
This week, the Purple Knights, under the direction of head coach Magnus Nilerud, will play only one match, as the team opens East Coast Conference play on Wednesday afternoon at Queens (N.Y.) College. Match time is set for 3:30 p.m.
