Bridgeport Women's Soccer Makes First Appearance In This Season's NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II Women’s National Poll
UB Checks In At Number 20 In National Poll And Number Three In The East Region
Bridgeport, Conn.-The University of Bridgeport women's soccer team, under the direction of head coach Magnus Nilerud, has entered the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II Women's National Poll for the first time this season, as UB checks in at number 20 in this week's poll.
The Purple Knights, who are currently 5-1-0 on the season and winners of five straight matches, take on Stonehill on Thursday and Mercy College this week. Both matches will be played at Knights Field on the campus of the University of Bridgeport.
UB also moved up from number seven to number three in the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II East Regional rankings. The Purple Knights trail the College of St. Rose and American International College who are tied for the top spot in the region.
