Clarke and Krepela of Men's Wrestling Named NWCA Scholar All-Americans
Achilles Clark (Sports Management, 3.54 GPA) | Gatlin Krepela (Medical Laboratory, 3.88 GPA)

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - In recognition of their outstanding and consistent achievements both on the mat and in the classroom, freshman Gatlin Krepela and sophomore Achilles Clarke of the University of Bridgeport's men's wrestling team have been named Scholar All-Americans by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA), the organization announced last week.
Krepela owns a 3.88 grade-point average as a Medical Laboratory major while Clarke is a Sports Management major with a 3.54 GPA.
Award Criteria:
- All-American at the 2026 NCAA DII National Championships and 3.00 GPA, or
- National Qualifier to the 2026 NCAA DII National Championships and 3.25 GPA, or
- Competed in 4 or more events and 3.5 GPA
