Men's Wrestling Wins at Maine Maritime, 42-18

CASTINE, Maine – Highlighted by five wins via pin, the University of Bridgeport's men's wrestling team picked up a 42-18 victory at Maine Maritime Academy on Friday night. The decisive triumph marks the Purple Knights' first dual meet win of the season.

Andres Mendoza, Matthew Ryan, Joshua Alert, Cam White and Achilles Clarke all picked up pins for UB on Friday.

Ryan, who currently sits at No. 20 in the nation at 157 lbs, posted his victory in just 29 seconds to improve his record to 11-6 this season.

Cristian Mendoza and Kamran Dickson also supplied points for the Purple Knights with forfeit victories.
