Men's Wrestling Begins 2026 at Williams College Open
Jaiden Hernandez leads the way with a third-place finish at 141 lbs.
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Competing for the first time in 20 days, the University of Bridgeport's men's wrestling team took part in the Williams College Open on Saturday in Williamstown, Mass.
INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS
Jaiden Hernandez continued his strong freshman campaign by placing third at 141 pounds after going 3-1 on the day, highlighted by pinfall victories over James Chaplick of Southern Maine and Eddie Lavoie of Springfield.
The performance marked Hernandez's fourth top-five finish of the season, to go along with a pair of dual-meet wins this winter.
Daniel Mahoney also turned in a productive showing at 149 pounds with a technical fall and a decision, while heavyweight Christopher Jeudy powered his way to four victories, three coming by pin.
