Men's Wrestling Drops Duals Against Virginia and East Stroudsburg
Matt Ryan earned UB's lone win of the day against ESU.
EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – Facing two of their toughest opponents of the dual-meet season, the University of Bridgeport's men's wrestling team dropped matchups to East Stroudsburg University (47-3) and the University of Virginia (56-0) on Sunday in East Stroudsburg.
Junior Matt Ryan earned UB's lone win of the day at 157 lbs. The Trumbull native put together a 10-5 decision over East Stroudsburg's Gavin Reynolds to open the afternoon.
Ryan also dropped a close contest against the Cavaliers, falling in a 5-3 decision to Jack Myers.
