Noack of Women's Lacrosse Earns Fourth CACC Rookie of the Week Award
Totaled seven points (6G, A) and 10 DCs in UB's 1-1 week.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – For the second straight Monday and fourth time this season, freshman Payton Noack of the University of Bridgeport's women's lacrosse team has been selected as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's Rookie of the Week. She has now earned a conference-best five weekly awards from the CACC this year.
Noack turned in another strong week for the Purple Knights, totaling six goals and an assist across a 1-1 stretch. She also tied for the team lead with 10 draw controls over the two games. Noack remains a dominant force in the circle, leading the CACC in both total draw controls (69) and draw controls per game (5.75) this season.
Noack and the rest of UB's women's lacrosse team will return to action on Wednesday night at Felician (7 p.m.).
