Noack Collects Third CACC Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week Award
Totaled team-high 21 draw controls to go along with seven goals and two assists.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – For the third time this season, freshman Payton Noack of the University of Bridgeport's women's lacrosse team has been selected as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's (CACC) Rookie of the Week, as announced by the CACC on Monday.
Noack delivered a standout all-around week, leading the Purple Knights with 21 draw controls while helping power the team to a 2-1 stretch. She added seven goals and two assists for nine total points, while also contributing three ground balls and three caused turnovers. Noack's top performance came in Saturday's win over Holy Family, where she recorded four points (3G, A) and a game-high 10 draw controls.
Noack and the rest of UB's women's lacrosse team will return to action on Wednesday at home against Caldwell (4 p.m.).
