Rochester, N.Y.-The University of Bridgeport women's lacrosse team closed out its abbreviated 2021 schedule on Saturday afternoon with a 23-2 road loss against the nationally-ranked Roberts Wesleyan College Redhawks. UB finishes the season at 1-4 both overall and in the East Coast Conference, and RWC remains unbeaten at 11-0 overall and 6-0 in the ECC.
Senior Giselle Hall (Fairport, N.Y.) and junior Jessica Kinser (Voorhees, N.J.) had goals for the Purple Knights on Saturday, and seniors Jen Pasternak (Hamburg, N.Y.) plus Andrea Basilicato (Guilford, Conn.) dished off assists.
Junior goalkeeper Abbie Jones (Rising Sun, Md.) made seven saves for UB and also collevted three ground balls.
