Gymnastics Boasts 27 GEC Scholar Athletes
Purple Knights recognized for fall 2025 GPA of 3.2 or greater.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Following a team GPA of 3.73 last semester, 27 members of the University of Bridgeport's gymnastics squad were officially named Scholar Athletes by the Gymnastics East Conference (GEC) on Wednesday.
To be honored as a GEC Scholar Athlete, a student-athlete must have registered a GPA of 3.2 or above during the fall 2025 semester.
