Gymnastics Defeated at West Chester in Road Dual Meet
Purple Knights tally a team score of 192.200.
WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Continuing a stretch of four straight road competitions, the University of Bridgeport's gymnastics team dropped a dual meet at West Chester on Saturday by a score of 193.175-192.200.

INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS
UB opened the afternoon on bars where Emily Hernandez paced the Purple Knights with a 9.625, tying for third overall. Rae Solis, Delphine Desjardins and Abby Kenney followed closely behind, each tying for fifth with matching 9.600s.
Vault was up next for the Purple Knights with Hernandez and Nova Staruk each posting 9.675s to tie for second. Tamyra Singletary added a fourth-place finish with a 9.625.
On floor, Kenney and Maggie Coyle led the way with identical 9.675s, tying for fifth. Skyler Vulchev, Staruk and Samantha Krenzel added 9.625s to tie for eighth, rounding out another deep showing for the Purple Knights.
Bridgeport saved its best for last on beam. Xiomara Jennings delivered the meet's top performance with a first-place 9.800 (career high), while Kenney followed with a 9.750 to tie for second. Krenzel chipped in with a 9.650 to tie for seventh, capping a strong closing rotation for UB.

The Purple Knights will visit Brown next Sunday (March 8) for a tri-meet with LIU.
