Gymnastics Takes Step Forward at New Hampshire Quad Meet
Purple Knights improve team score (191.800) by more than three points from season-opener.
DURHAM, N.H. – Competing for the second time this season, the University of Bridgeport's gymnastics team posted a mark of 191.800 at the University of New Hampshire's quad meet on Sunday. The Purple Knights improved by more than three points from their season-opening score last Sunday at Cornell.

Individual Highlights
The Purple Knights provided a balanced performance on Sunday, highlighted by 10 top-15 finishes across all four events.
Vault proved to be a major strength for Bridgeport as Abby Kenney and Nova Staruk tied for third with matching scores of 9.850, the top individual marks for UB on the day.
The Purple Knights continued their consistency on bars, where Nicole Pujals placed 13th with a 9.650 and Rae Solis followed closely behind in 15th with a 9.625.
On beam, Samantha Krenzel served as UB's top performer courtesy of an 11th-place finish with a 9.625.
Kenney added another solid performance on beam, placing 13th with a 9.575, while Xiomara Jennings rounded out the top-15 finishes with a 9.500 to take 15th.
Floor also saw a strong showing from Kenney, who finished 11th with a score of 9.750. Tamyra Singletary and Skyler Vulchev contributed on floor as well, tying for 13th with identical marks of 9.700.

The Purple Knights will make their home debut next Saturday at 5 p.m. It will be UB's Alumni Meet inside Wheeler Recreation Center.
