Gymnastics Generates 25 WCGA Scholastic All-Americans for 2024-25
Purple Knights (3.67 team GPA) boast most honorees in the country.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Continuing a tradition of academic excellence within the program, 25 members of the University of Bridgeport's gymnastics team have been named Scholastic All-Americans by the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) for 2024-25. The WCGA announced the awards on Monday.
The Purple Knights' 25 honorees, which signified nearly 90 percent of their roster, served as the most in the entire country. All in all, UB's team GPA for 2024-25 came out to 3.67 which ranked 37th in the nation.
To qualify for the WCGA Scholastic All-America Award, student-athletes must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher overall for the academic year or cumulatively.
