Gymnastics Finishes Second at Ursinus Quad Meet
Purple Knights post a team score of 192.050.
COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Competing for the fourth time in a 15-day span, the University of Bridgeport's gymnastics team placed second in a quad meet at Ursinus College on Sunday. The Purple Knights' score of 192.050 was narrowly beaten by William & Mary's 192.075 while West Chester (190.175) finished third and Ursinus College (189.575) placed fourth.

Individual Highlights
For the third straight meet, junior Abby Kenney put together the top score in the all-around. The New Jersey native finished with a mark of 38.825 which was highlighted by top-five finishes on bars (9.700), beam (9.750) and floor (9.725).
Kenney also posted a 9.650 on vault to finish tied for 10th.
Speaking of vault, the Purple Knights racked up a season-high score of 48.675. Nova Staruk took home first place and UB's highest score of the day with a 9.825 (season high).
After Staruk, Tamyra Singletary (9.725), Emily Hernandez (9.725), Gracie Walker (9.700), and Lola Sepulveda (9.700) all finished within the top six.
Floor also saw success for UB with Maddie Viles finishing tied with Kenney in second place with a 9.725 while Staruk and Maggie Coyle each placed fourth (9.700).
Skyler Vulchev (9.750) and Olivia Imbarlina (9.275) along with the aforementioned Kenney served as Bridgeport's top performers on beam while Hernandez and Samantha Nokes tied for fourth on bars (9.550).

The Purple Knights will compete in a tri-meet at Southeast Missouri State on Friday with Fisk University.
