Joanna Chambers Earns Second GEC Specialist of the Week Honor
Shined At Sunday's Quad Meet At Brown Taking First On The Beam And Bats

Bridgeport, Conn.-For the second time this season, University of Bridgeport senior Joanna Chambers (Georgetown, Tex.) has been selected as the Specialist of the Week in the Gymnastics East Conference.
Chambers earned this week's honor as she posted a career high 9.8 on vault and tied her career high on bars with a 9.75, placing first on both events in a quad meet at Brown on Sunday afternoon. ︎
Joanna was also named GEC Co-Specialist of the Week following the opening weekend of the 2023 season.
The University of Bridgeport women's gymnastics team will return to action on Super Bowl Sunday, February 12 at 1:00 p.m. when the Purple Knights travel up I-95 to Yale University to take part in the Barbara & Don Tonry Invitational.
