Senior Kathryn Doran Receives GEC Performance Of The Week Recognition
Took First Place At Last Week's Brown Tri-Meet On The Bars
West Chester, Pa.-University of Bridgeport senior Kathryn Doran (Oakville, Ontario, Canada) has been selected as the Gymnastics East Conference (GEC) Performance of the Week recipient for her outstanding contributions to her team on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at the Brown University Tri-Meet.
After minimal training during the last few weeks due to nagging injuries, Kat nailed her bar routine with a stick to earn an impressive 9.875, receiving a 9.9 from one judge, to win bars at the Purple Knights second meet of the season at Brown. She also took first place on the bars in UB's season-opening meet the week before.
This week, Doran and her teammates will be in action on Saturday, February 5 in a quad-meet hosted by West Chester University.
