Sophomore Amber Hill Named ECAC Division II Women's Gymnastics Specialist of the Week
Helped UB Post A Season-High Team Score At West Chester Last Saturday
Danbury, Conn.-University of Bridgeport sophomore gymnast Amber Hill (Windsor Locks, Conn.) has been selected as this week's Corvais ECAC Division II Women's Gymnastics Specialist of the Week for her outstanding performance in last Saturday's quad meet win by the Purple Knights at West Chester University.
Hill scored her personal-best on bars after receiving a score of 9.85. The sophomore's score helped the team record its second-highest bar score of the season. Her score also earned her a first-place finish and is now currently ranked fourth in NCAA Division II gymnastics on bars.
This week, Amber and her teammates will be busy participating in a meets at Temple University on Saturday and Brown University on Sunday.
