Three from Women's Basketball Earn CACC All-Academic Team Honors

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - In recognition of outstanding success both academically and on the hardwood, three University of Bridgeport women's basketball student-athletes have earned spots on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's (CACC) 2025-26 All-Academic Team.

The UB trio of Zahkiyyah Frazier, Savannah Prescott and Niyah Whitten, who were all recently tabbed to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, add CACC All-Academic Team honors to their resumes.

In total, 43 women's basketball student-athletes were recognized from 11 different CACC schools.

2025-26 UB Women's Basketball CACC All-Academic Team Selections

Zahkiyyah Frazier | Sophomore | 4.00 GPA | Health Sciences

Savannah Prescott | Sophomore | 3.81 GPA | Pre-Dental Hygiene 

Niyah Whitten | Senior | 3.77 GPA | Psychology

CACC All-Academic Team CRITERIA:
*Student-athlete must be at least a sophomore athletically and academically.
*A student-athlete must be in their second year at current institution.
*Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale)
*A first-year graduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as both an undergraduate and a grad student.
*A second-year graduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) just in their graduate studies program.
*Competed in at least 2/3s (67%) of team's games/matches or started in at least ½ (50%) of a team's games/matches.
