Kadijah Dickson Named ECC Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week For The Second Time This Season
Scored 24 Points And Grabbed 11 Rebounds At St. Thomas Aquinas
Central Islip, N.Y.-For the second time this season, University of Bridgeport freshman Kadijah Dickson (Queens, N.Y.) has been selected as the East Coast Conference women's basketball Rookie of the Week.
Dickson notched her second straight double-double with a game-high 24 points and a game-leading 11 rebounds in UB's loss at St. Thomas Aquinas on Wednesday in the Purple Knights only action last week. Kadijah hit 8-of-13 field goals on the night (1-of-2 in three-point shots) and went 7-of-11 from the foul line.
This recognition marks the fourth time this season a University of Bridgeport women's basketball players has earned ECC Rookie of the Week accolades.
This week, Kadijah and her teammates will host LIU Post on Wednesday and travel to NYIT on Saturday.
