UB Softball Predicted To Finish Sixth In 2014 East Coast Conference Race
Purple Knights Will Look To Continue Trend Of Improving Win Totals Over Last Three Seasons
Central Islip, N.Y.-The University of Bridgeport softball team has been predicted to finish sixth (just one point shy of fifth place) in the 2014 East Coast Conference race in a poll of league coaches that was released on Thursday afternoon.
In 2014, the Purple Knights will be looking to continue the upswing they have experienced the past three seasons, as UB has increased its win total during the 2011, 2012 and 2013 seasons.
Bridgeport is scheduled to open its 2014 season in Clermont, Florida on Friday, March 7 versus Gannon University.
