Dragun and Toussi Qualify for 2026 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships
Purple Knight duo will now travel to Evansville, Ind. on March 10-14 to compete for a National Title.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Fresh off the program's first-ever Northeast 10 Conference Championship, the University of Bridgeport will be represented by two men's swimmers at the 2026 NCAA Division II Championships, set for March 10-14 in Evansville, Ind. Freshmen Jurica Dragun and Christian Toussi have each earned the opportunity to continue their standout seasons on the national stage.
Dragun will compete in both the 100- and 200-breast. His time of 53.80 in the 100-breast, recorded at the ECAC Championships in December, currently ranks 13th in the nation.
He won both the 100- and 200-breast at the NE10 Championships just 10 days ago.
Toussi, meanwhile, will compete in the 100-back and 100-free. His qualifying mark of 47.41 in the 100-back—also achieved at the ECAC Championships—sits 13th nationally.
Toussi, in similar fashion to Dragun, grabbed NE10 gold in both of the events that he will compete in at NCAAs.
Together, Dragun and Toussi will now head to Evansville (March 10-14) looking to build on UB's historic conference title and make their mark at the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships.
