UB Men's Soccer Ranked Tenth In East Region By The NSCAA

Bridgeport, Conn.-The University of Bridgeport men's soccer team is ranked tenth in the second regular season NCAA Division II Men's Soccer East Regional Poll conducted by the National Soccer Coach Association of America (NSCAA).

Last week, the Purple Knights went 1-1-0, falling 3-2 at top Top-10 ranked Franklin Pierce and winning 3-2 in double overtime against UMass Lowell.

UB is one of five East Coast Conference ranked in the NCAA Division II Men's East Regional Poll by the NSCAA, as C.W. Post is number three, Dowling number four, St. Thomas Aquinas number eight, NYIT number nine and Bridgeport number 10.

Last week, the Purple Knights were ranked fourth in the region.

This week, Bridgeport hosts Caldwell on Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. and opens East Coast Conference play at Mercy College on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
