Men's Lacrosse's Napoli Selected to USILA's DII Team of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Following a superb performance during the Purple Knights' win over Caldwell last week, junior James Napoli of the University of Bridgeport's men's lacrosse team has been selected to the USILA's National Team of the Week. He joins teammates Casey Dmochowski and Ryan Thomas who have also earned the distinction this season.

Napoli served as UB's offensive catalyst in a 17-7 triumph over the Cougars last week. The Long Island native tallied a team-high 10 points for the second time in his last three games. He finished with a season-best six goals to go along with four assists. Napoli now leads the Purple Knights in both total points (36) and goals (23) this season. He is also tied for the team lead in assists with 13.

Napoli and the rest of UB's men's lacrosse squad will return to action tomorrow with a road contest at Dominican (4 p.m.).
