Trama of Men's Lacrosse Selected as CACC's Rookie of the Week
Tallied a season-high six points (4G, 2A) in UB's win over Caldwell.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – After helping the University of Bridgeport's men's lacrosse team to a 17-7 win over Caldwell, freshman Stephen Trama has been tabbed the CACC's Rookie of the Week.
Trama put together a career day in UB's decisive conference win last Wednesday. The Long Island native finished with season highs in every offensive category, posting four goals and two assists for six total points. He also nabbed a pair of ground balls in the win. Trama currently ranks second on the Purple Knights this season with 27 total points (17G, 10A).
Trama and the rest of UB's men's lacrosse team will return to action tomorrow night at home against Holy Family. The Purple Knights will celebrate Senior Day prior to the 6 p.m. start.
