Men's Lacrosse Earns USILA Academic Team Award
UB finished the school year with a team GPA of 3.3—well above the USILA's qualifying mark of 3.0.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - In recognition of superb performances in the classroom this past school year, the University of Bridgeport's men's lacrosse squad was honored with a USILA Academic Team Award on Thursday.
In what has become a tradition within the program, the Purple Knights were sensational off the field in 2023-24. UB finished the school year with a team GPA of 3.3—well above the USILA's qualifying mark of 3.0. Individually, five Purple Knights were recently named to the CACC's Men's Lacrosse All-Academic Team.
UB men's lacrosse also boasted 20 student-athletes on the CACC's Academic Honor Roll following the fall 2023 semester.
