Men's Basketball's Tyson Nabs CSC Academic All-District Honors for 2025-26
A Finance major with a 3.7 GPA, he finished second on UB in both rebounds and assists per game.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – In recognition of superb efforts as both a student and a basketball player, junior Jaheem Tyson of University of Bridgeport's men's basketball squad has been named to the College Sports Communicators' (CSC) Academic All-District Team for 2025-26.
Tyson, a Finance major with a strong 3.7 cumulative GPA, put together a well-rounded season as one of the UB's most reliable reserves. Appearing in all 27 games with five starts, Tyson made his presence felt across the board, averaging 7.0 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per contest.
Tyson recorded six games with double-digit rebounds during the year, including three double-doubles. He also proved to be an effective facilitator, tallying four or more assists in eight different games.
