PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Sparked by another massive second half, the University of Bridgeport's men's basketball team posted a 72-67 win at Jefferson University on Saturday afternoon. The road victory improves the Purple Knights to 4-3 overall this season with a 2-1 mark in the CACC.
After trailing by seven at the break, UB erupted for 50 second-half points, hitting seven threes and locking in defensively to secure its second CACC win of the year.

Graduate student Jason Edokpayi added 14 points for UB, reaching double figures for the fifth time this season. He is now averaging 9.4 points per contest which ranks second behind Sullivan's 17.0.
UB's depth was once again a difference-maker, as 15 Purple Knights saw the floor and the bench supplied 27 points, highlighted by eight from Jordan Miller and seven from Shedrach Makanjuola. Miller also matched Sullivan with a team-best three steals.
Speaking of steals, Bridgeport was disruptive throughout, piling up 11 takeaways and forcing 16 turnovers, which translated into 20 points off giveaways.
