Shell of Men's Basketball Named to CACC's All-Academic Team
Owns 3.72 GPA as a mechanical engineering major.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – In honor of superb efforts in the classroom, Lambert Shell, Jr. of the University of Bridgeport's men's basketball team has been named to the CACC's All-Academic Team for the 2024-25 school year.
Shell, who was also recognized on the All-Academic squad last year, owns a 3.72 GPA as a senior Mechanical Engineering major. He is a five-year member of the Purple Knights, including this past year on the 2025 CACC championship team.
To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must have: a) Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of the immediate preceding term (may include summer for fall sport participants); b) a Minimum of two semesters enrolled as full-time student at member institution; c) must be second year student-athlete at member institution.
