Cisse of Men's Basketball Tabbed CACC Co-Player of the Week
Scored 37 points during UB's win at STAC last week.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – In recognition of another sensational stretch for the University of Bridgeport's men's basketball squad, Aliou Cisse was named the CACC's Co-Player of the Week on Monday.
Cisse led the Purple Knights to their best win of the season so far against STAC. The junior poured in a season-high 37 points as UB posted a 101-98 victory over the Spartans last Tuesday. Cisse also chipped in seven rebounds, two assists and two steals versus STAC. He followed that performance up with another 13 points and seven boards versus Pace on Saturday.
Cisse continues to lead the CACC in scoring this season (23.5 ppg) while ranking third in the league in shooting percentage (62.5%). He is also averaging 6.3 rebounds per contest.
The University of Bridgeport's men's basketball team will return to action on Sunday (Dec. 1) when they host Bentley at 2 p.m.
