Bridgeport Moves To Top Spot In The East Region In This Week's D2SIDA Media Poll
Purple Knights Head Into This Week's Play At 8-1 Overall

Bridgeport, Conn.-After going 2-0 last week to raise its overall record to 8-1, the University of Bridgeport men's basketball team has moved into the top spot in this week's D2SIDA East Region Media Poll. The Purple Knights, who defeated LIU Post on the road and NYIT at home last week, moved up from number three in the previous week's ranking.
This week, head coach Mike Ruane and his team host a pair of East Coast Conference games taking on Roberts Wesleyan College at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Daemen College at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
