Men's Hoops Tripped Up At C.W. Post, 82-78

Brookville, N.Y.-Senior Aaron Hall scored a game-high 25 points to help lead the host C.W. Post Pioneers to an 82-78 East Coast Conference win over the visiting University of Bridgeport Purple Knights on Monday night. With the win, the Pioneers are now 8-6 overall and 5-2 in conference play.  UB is now 5-7 overall and 5-2 in the ECC.

Senior Msoo Ikyatoor (Nigeria, West Africa) led four Bridgeport players in double-figure scoring with 22 points.  Msoo was joined in double-digit scoring by senior Jermaine Washington (Philadelphia, Pa.) with 18 points, graduate student Dave Boykin (White Plains, N.Y.) with 13 points and junior Josh Martin (Philadelphia, Pa.) with 11 points.  Senior Tim Cokley (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds for the Purple Knights

UB is next scheduled to be in action on Wednesday night when they host Dowling College.  Game time in Hubbell Gym is set for 7:00 p.m.
