UNIONDALE, N.Y. – Playing their penultimate non-conference game of the season, the University of Bridgeport's baseball team (10-15, 6-9 CACC) suffered a 19-0 defeat at Molloy on Wednesday.
The Purple Knights managed just five hits—all singles—from five different players, with Vincenzo Della Porta, Tyler Pennisi, Noah Williams, Andrew Sinclair, and Kyle Coppola each recording one.
Della Porta reached base a team-best two times after also drawing a walk, while Sinclair added a stolen base.
Pitching wise, Dominick Weidtman provided a bright spot out of the bullpen, tossing 1.1 scoreless innings while allowing just one hit.
