Brookville, N.Y-The University of Bridgeport baseball team was limited to two hits and one run on Tuesday afternoon, as the Purple Knight fell in the final game of a four-game East Coast Conference series to the host LIU Post Pioneers, 5-1. UB is now 12-22 overall and 8-8 in the ECC. LIUP is now 23-12 overall and 14-2 in conference action.
Sophomore Conall Roberts (Mt. Laurel. N.J.) had one of his team's two base knocks and drove in the Purple Knights lone run.
Up next, the UB baseball team will open a four-game ECC series against Queens (N.Y.) College at home on Thursday afternoon.
